RICHMOND, VA— A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold in Richmond, the second $1 million winning ticket in just one week.
The ticket was bought at Ocean Grocery, 2438 Venable Street in Richmond and matched the first five numbers in the December 5 Powerball drawing to win $1 million.
The winning numbers for Wednesday night's drawing were 13-17-19-27-38, and the Powerball number was 12.
There are currently two unclaimed $1 million Powerball tickets that were bought in Richmond.
The other ticket was one of four Virginia million-dollar winners in the record-setting November 28 drawing. That ticket was bought at Kroger, 901 North Lombardy in Richmond. The winner has not come forward.
Ticket holders have 180 days from the drawing date to claim the prize.
