Henrico, VA—One person was injured, after being hit
in the head during an armed robbery Thursday afternoon.
Police say that the incident occurred just after 3:00 p.m. in the 9500 block
of Virginia Centerway Place.
Three people were approached by two young black men. One of the suspects
displayed a handgun, and demanded money and property from the victims. During
the confrontation, one of the suspects struck a victim in the head, leaving the
person with a minor laceration.
The suspects were last seen fleeing on foot towards Virginia Center Parkway.
One of the suspects was wearing a red shirt; the other wore black clothing,
and had tattoos on his arms.
