Henrico, Va - 8News has found out today that a Henrico Deputy has been arrested for DUI and possession with intent to distribute. She worked at the Henrico West Jail for more than five years , but Thursday Patricia Baran found herself on the other side of the law.
Police arrested her for a DUI after she allegedly crashed her personal vehicle in another driver on West Broad and Westerre Parkway. Henrico Police also charged Deputy Baran with possession with intent to distribute. Police found cocaine in their police car after Baran's arrest.
Baran left jail after posting bond Thursday, but her job is in jeopardy even though Baran was not working when she was arrested. She has been suspended while the sheriff's office conducts an internal investigation.
