RICHMOND, VA. (AP) - The Virginia Department of Transportation has scheduled public hearings this week over proposed improvements to the Interstate 64 corridor.
Meetings will be held at Bruton High School in Williamsburg on Tuesday night, at the Newport News City Center on Wednesday night, and at the VDOT Central Office auditorium in Richmond on Thursday night.
A draft environmental impact study will be discussed and residents will be encouraged to provide comments at the meetings or submit them to the I-64 study team no later than Jan. 7.
