A "suspicious package" investigated in South Richmond Tuesday afternoon was just a piece of mail.
Police and bomb squad units responded to the 4300 block of Warwick Road after a citizen reported a suspicious device found in a mailbox.
Crews x-rayed the item to make sure it was not an explosive. Police officials said it was just an advertising mailer rolled into a tube.
