Search-and-rescue crews worked through the night after a monstrous tornado barreled through the Oklahoma City suburbs, demolishing an elementary school and reducing homes to piles of splintered wood. At least 24 people were killed, including at least seven children, and those numbers were expected to climb.More >>
Henrico, VA—One man was shot in the
leg during a robbery at a home in the 3600 block of Miller Glen Lane Saturday evening; the
victim is expected to survive.
The
incident happened at about 8:00 p.m. Saturday night, in the 3600 block of Miller Glen Lane in
the east end of Henrico.
As
the suspect robbed the home, a gun he was brandishing was discharged, and
struck a male occupant of the home in the calf. He was transported to a local
hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police
are searching for the suspect, who is described as a black male in his late
20s, with a medium complexion and a goatee. He was about six feet tall, 200
pounds, and was wearing all black during the crime.
