CHESTERFIELD, VA—A police pursuit in Chesterfields ends in a crash, seriously injuring one person.
Police say they tired to stop a reckless driver on Strathmore Road when the driver sped up and fled.
The suspect later lost control of the vehicle and crashed on Crinklewood Drive.
The driver was taken into custody. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Police said charges are pending as an active investigation continues.
