Strasburg, VA—A man walked into a Virginia elementary school Wednesday carrying a two-by-four with the words "high powered rifle" written on it, according to ABC affiliate WJLA.
The incident took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Strasburg, Virginia. The school is not the same Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut, where 20 children and six adults were killed last Friday.
It's unclear why the man, Christopher G. Johnson, walked into the school, but the superintendent of Shenandoah Schools said the man appeared to making a political statement.
There were no children hurt in this incident, nor did any children come into contact with Johnsonn. He did not have any children that attended the school.
Johnson was held in the principal's office of the school until police arrived. Shenandoah County Sheriff's deputies then took him into custody for questioning. Christopher G. Johnson charged with disorderly conduct
