RICHMOND, VA—A man was found shot to death in the middle of a South Richmond street Wednesday evening.
Officers responded to the 2400 block of Brady Avenue at 7:17 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found an adult black male, in his early 20s, lying on the ground. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The medical examiner will determine the exact cause and manner of death.
Officers continue to investigate and said they do not believe the shooting was random.
The victim's name has not been released. No arrests have been made.
