Richmond, Va - Richmond Police detectives have identified the man found shot to death Saturday morning as Lynn Taylor Jr., 31, of the 3300 block of Peyton Avenue.

At approximately 3:16 a.m. today, officers received a call for a person shot in the 400 block of East 34th Street just off of Hull Street. When officers arrived, they found a Taylor suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. He died at the scene.

Detectives are continuing their investigation today to determine exactly what happened and ask anyone with any information to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers by texting 274637, using the key word "ITip" followed by your tip. Both methods are anonymous.

 


 

Richmond, Va - Richmond Police detectives are in the early stages of a homicide investigation on the city's Southside.

At approximately 3:16 a.m. Saturday morning, officers received a call for a person shot in the 400 block of East 34th Street just off of Hull Street. When officers arrived, they found a black male in his late 20s/early 30s suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. He died at the scene.

Detectives are currently canvassing the area to speak with possible witnesses and gather information.

Anyone with any information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers by texting 274637, using the key word "ITip" followed by your tip. Both methods are anonymous.
