CHESTERFIELD, VA—A New Year's Day fire at a Chesterfield County gas station has been ruled accidental, fire officials said Wednesday.

Flames ripped through the 360 Get-N-Go gas station on Hull Street Road near the Chesterfield Berry Farm just before 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The Chesterfield County Fire marshals concluded the fire was accidental; however, they are still working to determine the exact cause.

It took crews about 45 minutes to get the fire under control. No injuries were reported.

Fire and smoke damage were reported throughout the rear of the building.
