CHESTERFIELD, VA—Residents were evacuated after a fire
broke out at a Chesterfield County hotel Wednesday morning.
Crews responded to the Country Inn and Suites located at 2401 Willis Road for reports of a fire.
Fire officials said residents were evacuated after a small fire broke out in
a second floor room. The fire has been extinguished.
When crews arrived at the scene, they found a haze of smoke coming from the
building.
Crews remain on scene to assist with clean up efforts.
