HENRICO, VA—No
one was injured when a fire broke out at a Henrico County
home Friday afternoon.
The fire broke out at a three-story home in the 8300 block of Colebrook Road just
before 10:45 a.m. Friday.
Crews were "chasing fire through the walls," as the fire spread
through the walls and into the attic, Henrico County Fire Capt. James Mellon
said.
It took crews around 30 minutes to get the fire under control.
No one was home at the time of the fire, and no was injured, fire officials
said.
The home is uninhabitable, and it is unknown if the home
owner will need assistance, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Stay with 8New for
