Petersburg, Va - One man is taken to the hospital after being shot Saturday night. It happened around 11pm on E. Washington Street near the Petersburg Food Market.
8News has learned that the victim was in surgery overnight and the his condition is unknown at this time.
Police tell us they are questioning a person of interest in the shooting.
