2 Robbed At Gunpoint in Hopewell Trailer Park

Hopewell, VA—Two people were robbed at gunpoint inside the Walles Trailer Park on Sunday night.

Police responded to the scene of the crime, in the 2400 block of Oaklawn Boulevard in Hopewell. The victims reported that the suspect approached them, demanded money, and assaulted them with a weapon.

The suspect, described as a black male in his late 30s to early 40s, fled the trailer park in a dark-colored sports utility vehicle, with chrome lens covers on the rear lights.

A purse containing personal items, jewelry and cash was taken from one of the victims. Both individuals suffered minor injuries.

The gun used in the crime is described as a semi-automatic pistol with a black bottom and gray top.

The suspect was balding, with a thin "goatee" beard streaked with gray. He was wearing a black hoodie jacket and black pants.
