Richmond, VA--The highest-rated show on PBS is coming to Richmond to film three shows for next season.
The network's highly-acclaimed Antiques Roadshow will be filmed at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on August 17, 2013. Michael Myers of the Richmond Convention Center says the event is a great tourism opportunity for the city.
"People come into town for the weekend, for the night and stay," said Myers. "They get to experience a wonderful tourism destination they haven't seen before."
Three episodes of the show will be filmed for next season. 6,000 tickets will be given out in a random drawing.
