RICHMOND, VA-Richmond Police are asking for help to identify the two people involved in a December attempted robbery and shooting.

It happened in the 6900 block of Marlowe Road near Empeari Drive around 12:30 a.m. the morning of December 30, 2012.

Richmond Police said two males approached the victim has he sat in his vehicle. The men asked the victim for money, and when the victim refused, police said both men shot into the victim's vehicle.

The victim, a 60-year-old man, suffered several injures but was able to drive to a local hospital, police said. He was in stable condition.

The suspects were last seen getting into a silver or grey Volvo station wagon with a ski or bike rack on the roof.
