RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A woman who helped bring a 13-year-old runaway girl into Virginia for prostitution is due in federal court for sentencing.

Whitney Hayes pleaded guilty last July to conspiracy to transport a minor across state lines for prostitution. She will be sentenced Thursday in federal court in Richmond. Sentencing guidelines call for a term of up to five years.

According to prosecutors, Hayes helped another prostitute and their pimp bring the girl from Charlotte, N.C., to the Richmond area to work with them. The adults were arrested at a Henrico County hotel in May 2012.

Korey Jermaine Reynolds and Rachael Masingene also pleaded guilty. Reynolds is serving a 10-year, 10-month sentence. Masingene faces sentencing Feb. 13.
