PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA—A woman was shot and killed in Prince William County early Thursday morning, and police are searching for the gunman.
It happened just before 3:30 a.m. at a home in the 17600 block of Washington Street.
When officers responded to reports of gunfire, police found the victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said the victim was shot in her upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's name has not been released.
