Hanover County, VA--A head-on collision between two vehicles sent a man to the hospital with serious injuries Thursday evening.
The accident happened in the 7000 block of Walnut Grover Road, near Mechanicsville Little League shortly before 6:00 p.m.
A 2000 Ford Expedition was traveling west, when it crossed the double solid line, striking a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport head-on.
The adult female and 2 juveniles traveling in the Expedition were not hurt, but the driver of the Jeep suffered serious injuries. The adult male victim was taken to VCU Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the accident is unknown, and police will continue their investigation. Stay with 8News for updates.
