Kansas City, Missouri—A school in Missouri will require student to undergo drug screenings in what the school calls an effort to help aid students in making the best decisions possible.
Students at Missouri's Rockhurst High School will be required to undergo drug screening starting in the fall 2013.
According to the school, students will be subject to mandatory random drug and alcohol testing during their four years on campus.
As outlined in the school's Health and Wellness Model, the results of the test will be shared with the student's parents in an effort to help students make positive choices.
The school said students will be randomly selected to submit for drug and alcohol testing. Students will be forced to submit a hair sample for the test, the school said.
