Henrico, VA—An elderly woman was injured and sent to the hospital, after her car crashed though a window and barreled into the United States Post Office located at 405 E. Nine Mile Road.
Police responded to the scene at about 1:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon. The unidentified elderly female driver crashed her car through the window of the post office. She was transported to VCU Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
There were no other injuries in this incident; a building inspector is on the scene, and the crash remains under investigation.
