A New York film critic's harsh review of the newly released "Identity Thief" is making headlines after the critic called the movie's star "tractor-sized" and a "hippo."
In the review, veteran film critic Rex Reed says actress Melissa McCarthy has "devoted her short career to being obese and obnoxious."
Reed went on to say the "tractor-sized" actress plays a "humongous creep" in the film.
The movie opened Friday and tells the story of a businessman (Jason Bateman) who has his identity stolen by a woman on the other side of the country (Melissa McCarthy).
Reed's attention to McCarthy's weight has some calling foul, with many sounding off on social media.
