Petersburg, VA—The family and friends of a teenage girl killed in an accident Sunday morning is mourning her loss, and tells 8News she was "a beautiful strong young woman with so much potential."
The accident happened around 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning on Crater Road in Petersburg. Three people were inside a Ford Taurus when the crash occurred; 2 males were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, but 18-year-old Ikeyia Jones died of her injuries.
There has been no cause reported in this incident, and no word on if any charges will be filed.
