Prince George, VA—Four juvenile males who escaped from the Crater Detention Center were captured Sunday morning, after a motorist they flagged down for help alerted police.
At about 7:30 a.m. on February 10, a citizen driving in the 1000 block of Prince George Drive was flagged down by four males asking for help. Knowing a search was underway for four escapees, the citizen fled the area and contacted police.
When officers arrived, they canvasses the area, and found a residence that appeared to have been burglarized. As officers searched the home, they found the four escapees inside; the homeowner was not at home during the time of the incident.
The juveniles have been charged with felony escape; they may also face additional charged stemming form the burglary of the home.
