Richmond, VA—The man killed in a Saturday morning hit and run on Hull Street will be laid to rest Friday.
Larry Seward, 45, of the 4200 block of Sheffield Road, was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the 3000 block of Hull Street early Saturday morning.
It happened around 2:18 a.m. Saturday, February 9.
Police say Seward was crossing the road when a vehicle traveling east struck him and then left the scene.
Seward was transported to VCU Medical Center and died Monday.
A service and repast will be held at Friday at 12 p.m. at Greater Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, located at 913 North 1Street
Seward will be buried at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 5300 Hopewell Road in New Kent.
Police continue to search for the driver. Anyone with information about the vehicle, driver or incident is asked to call Hit and Run Sgt. Scott Jones at (804) 646-1369 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
