BLACKSTONE, VA—A Blackstone woman says the condition of her late mother's grave is something no one should have to see, and now she wants answers as to what's being done to repair the shocking damage.
Joyce Mosby says when she visited her mother's grace at Shiloh Baptist Church in Blackstone, she was shocked by what she saw.
"I never expected to see this because when you put her in the ground, you think this is where her resting place should be," said Ms. Mosby.
The soil above the grave was two feet in the air and the grave was filled with water, Mosby told 8News.
It's been just more than a year since Mosby's mother was laid to rest.
