HENRICO, VA-Henrico County fire crews battled a two-alarm apartment fire Wednesday afternoon; in all, 28 units were impacted by the blaze and one person suffered minor injury.
The fire broke out at the Quarter Mill Apartments in the 3000 block of Quarter Creek Lane, just off Copper Creek Lane.
When fire crews arrived on scene at about 12:18 p.m., they found heavy smoke coming from the apartment.
28 units were affected in all: 14 were damaged by fire, and 14 were damaged by smoke and water.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation...stay with 8News for updates.
