CHESTERFIELD, VA—An 82-year-old woman is recovering after she was robbed by two men outside of a Chesterfield County retirement community in broad daylight Friday.

It happened around 2:10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Brandermill Woods Retirement Center.

Two suspects approached the 82-year-old victim as she was unloading items from her vehicle, police said.

One of the suspects put his hand over the victim's mouth; the suspects took the woman's purse and fled the scene on foot, police said. No weapon was displayed during the incident.

They were last seen heading north, into the woods, from the scene.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

Anyone with any information should call police or Crime Solvers.
