CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA –Chesterfield County drivers will have to ease off the gas while traveling down a stretch of West Hundred Road.
The speed limit on West Hundred Road from its intersection with Osborne Road to its intersection with Jefferson Davis Highway is now 35 mph.
The speed limit was previously 45 mph.
Chesterfield County police are urging drivers to heed the new, reduced speed limit.
Police announced plans to increase patrols in this area Friday, February 22.
