RICHMOND, VA—A Richmond City special education school bus carrying nine students was involved in a wreck Thursday morning.
The bus was transporting students to Broad Rock Elementary School and J.L. Francis Elementary School, according to school officials.
Three students were taken to an area hospital for evaluation, Richmond Police said. Nine students were on the bus at the time of the crash, school officials said.
The wreck happened at Orcutt Lane and Hull Street. A passenger car ran into the back of the bus, according to officials.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was charged with following too close, police said.
