AMELIA, VA—A fraudulent caller in Amelia County is targeting those who want to help a local high school and is stealing their money.
As part of the scam, a caller phones unsuspecting victims, asking for donations for a school fundraiser. The only problem, there is no fundraiser.
Now, residents and businesses are being warned not to give out their personal information or funds.
