Robert J. Dodd, 48, of the 10000 block of Wycliff Road in Richmond, has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of purchasing alcohol for unauthorized person.
Police say Dodd held parties at his home, where he gave alcohol to minors. When the minors became intoxicated, Dodd engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with them, police said.
The alleged crimes took place over a period of seven years, Chesterfield County Police said.
-Offense date in February 2010 - 1 count each of aggravated sexual battery and purchasing alcohol for unauthorized person. -Offense date in June 2011 - 1 count each of aggravated sexual battery and purchasing alcohol for unauthorized person. -Offense date in February 2012 - 1 count each of aggravated sexual battery and purchasing alcohol for unauthorized person. -Offense date from 9/1/2006 to 9/30/2010 - 1 count of purchasing alcohol for unauthorized person
Dodd was denied bond in a January court appearance. In a Tuesday, February 28 court hearing, Dodd's trial was continued until April 11.
