CHESTERFIELD, VA—The trial for the man Chesterfield County Police say provided alcohol to minors and engaged in inappropriate acts with them once they were drunk has been continued until mid April.
Robert J. Dodd, 48, of the 10000 block of Wycliff Road in Richmond, has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of purchasing alcohol for unauthorized person.
Police say Dodd held parties at his home, where he gave alcohol to minors. When the minors became intoxicated, Dodd engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with them, police said.
The alleged crimes took place over a period of seven years, Chesterfield County Police said.-Offense date in February 2010 - 1 count each of aggravated sexual battery and purchasing alcohol for unauthorized person.
Dodd was denied bond in a January court appearance. In a Tuesday, February 28 court hearing, Dodd's trial was continued until April 11.
