RICHMOND, VA—Police have identified the man killed in a single-car wreck on the Downtown
Expressway early Friday morning.
Frederick E. Goetz Jr., 52,
of Richmond, was
killed in the wreck.
Police say Goetz was
traveling from northbound Powhite
Parkway to eastbound Downtown Expressway when his
car ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
The left lane of the westbound side of the Downtown Expressway was closed
for approximately two hours Friday morning.
