FREDERICKSBURG – A late morning crash has closed a portion of Route
30 in Caroline County in both directions. It is anticipated that the road will
remain closed until late this afternoon.
A tractor trailer hauling trash overturned on eastbound Route 30 near the
King William County line. Crews are unloading the contents of the trailer in
order to upright the wreckage.
East and westbound traffic on Route 30 is being detoured onto Winston Loop
then back to Route 30. Flaggers will direct motorists through the detour.
Tractor trailers and large trucks are urged to use extreme caution when
navigating the detour route.
