Richmond, VA--Streets around the John Marshall Courthouse in Richmond were blocked off, after a reported hazardous materials scare Monday afternoon.
Richmond Fire Department and the HAZMAT team were called to the scene, after an employee discovered white powder in an envelope.
The scene was cleared by 3:00 p.m., and the powder material is being analyzed. There were no injuries in this incident.
The courts building is located at 400 N. Ninth Street in Downtown Richmond.
