HENRIOC, VA—Drivers in Henrico County could experience some delays Thursday morning after a tractor trailer wreck closed part of the exit ramp from I-95 south to I-295 south.
One lane of the ramp from I-95 south to I-295 south (exit 84A) is blocked due to a tractor trailer crash. Drivers can still use the remaining lane to access I-295 south.
VDOT says cleanup is expected to continue through the rush hour due to a fuel leak.
Major congestion is expected at the interchange.
The wreck happened at approximately 2:45 a.m. Thursday. Police say the driver of a tractor-trailer ran off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail. The impact cased a fuel leak, allowing approximately 30 gallons of diesel fuel to spill, police said.
No one was injured in the wreck. The crash remains under investigation.
