Farmville, VA—A local school needs help from the community to stay in the running for a national science competition.

Last weekend's storm destroyed the greenhouse and several cabbage plants growing at New Life Christian Academy in Farmville.

Third grade science students were growing the plants as part of a science competition, and trying to a $1000 prize for their school.

New Life Christian Academy is looking for a greenhouse to continue growing the plants so the children can stay in the competition.

If you or anyone you know can help the school, please call 4334-392-6236.
