Police: Drunk Man Stole, Crashed Tractor Trailer In Henrico

Henrico, VA—Police say an intoxicated man stole a tractor trailer from a repair shop in the 3000 block of Aspen Avenue Saturday night; he is now facing DUI and grand larceny charges.

At approximately 11:36 p.m., a man who was apparently intoxicated approached a tractor trailer parked at Centro America Automobile Repair in Henrico. The mechanics working on the vehicle had stepped inside the building at the time.

The suspect got into the truck and drove off. He crashed the truck a short distance from the repair shop, at the corner f Hilliard and Staples Mill Roads. Police then apprehended him.

The suspect is identified as 31-year-old Sean Williams. Williams was charged with driving under the influence and grand larceny, and is currently being held in a Henrico jail.
