UPDATE: Missing Chesterfield Man Found Unharmed

UPDATE: Richard Velzy, the 81-year-old Chesterfield man who had been missing since April 1, has been found. Police say he was located just after 2:00 p.m. in the City of Richmond; he was unharmed.

Chesterfield, VA—Police are searching for an elderly man who has been missing from his Chesterfield home since Monday.

Richard J. Velzy of the 11900 block of west Briar Patch Drive was last seen April 1, driving his 2004 Buick Le Sabre near the Virginia Historical Society (428 north Boulevard Street in Richmond). Velzy's car has Virginia licence plates with the number "504580."

Velzy is 81 years old, and is described as a white male. He stand about 6 feet tall and weighs about 175 pounds. Velzy has gray hair, blue eyes and wears eyeglasses. He was last seen wearing a blue windbreaker.
