RESTON, VA—Reston Police are searching for the mother of a 5-year-old boy who they say took off with the young child over the weekend.

Police say Rebecca Serafin, 32, was supposed to return her 5-year-old son, Cameron, to his father on Sunday, April 7, but never did.

Authorities say the woman may have changed both her own appearance and that of her son.

Serafin's car and personal belongings have been recovered by police, officers have not located her or the boy.

A warrant has been issued for her arrest on charges of custodial interference.

Serafin is described as standing 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighing between 120 and 130 pounds, while Cameron is 3-feet-5-inches tall and weighs about 40 pounds. Cameron may also be using the last name Love.
