Car Parked In Fan Has Wheels, Tires Stolen

RICHMOND, VA—The Fan District Association is warning residents after a car was found up on blocks, after having its wheels and tires stolen.

It happened as the car was parked on Monument Avenue, near North Allen, and now the neighborhood is rallying behind the car's owner, hoping to catch the crook.

The crooks struck sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, stripping the Infiniti of its wheels and tires. Neighbors say it had to be done by a professional.

Steve Nuckolls, the car owner's landlord, says he's angry someone targeted his tenant.

The Fan District Association says it's not aware of this ever happening before, or at least not in the past 30 years.

Neighbors are hopeful camera in the area caught the incident on film.
