RICHMOND, VA—If you've driven down Ladies Mile Road in Richmond recently, you may have noticed road crews.
Crews are working to install speed cushions on Ladies Mile Road between Noble Avenue and Endgewood Avenue.
The speed cushions are being installation as part of a new safety measure. Residents reported speeding in the area, prompting the City to investigate the issue and determine speed cushions should be installed.
To allow crews to install the cushions, Ladies Mile Road will intermittently be reduced down to one lane.
The following areas will be impacted by the closures:
-Ladies Mile Road between Noble Avenue and Moss Side Avenue
-Ladies Mile road between Montrose Avenue and Edgewood Avenue
-Dunston Avenue, between 41st and Roanoke Streets
The lane closures will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and will run through Friday, May 17th.
