HENRICO, VA—A Richmond man has been charged following an April shooting in Henrico County that wounded three people, two of them critically.
Elijah Dominique Gee, 22, of the 4800 block of Red Oak Lane, Richmond, has been charged with four counts of the use of a firearm in commission of a felony, two counts of malicious wounding, one count of malicious shooting and one count of burglary.
Gee turned himself in late Wednesday.
One of the shooting victims, a male, remains hospitalized, following the April 24 triple shooting. The victim is in stable condition, police said.
Two others, a male and a female, were wounded in the shooting.
The two male victims, both 26-years-old, suffered injuries to their upper body. A 27-year-old female victim suffered a non-life threatening leg injury.
Police responded to a home in 3500 block of Carlton Road around 1:20 p.m. April 24. Nearby Ratcliffe Elementary School was placed on lockdown for 40 minutes during the incident. School was dismissed at the regular time.
