$99M Lottery Ticket Sold In Farmville Remains Unclaimed

Posted: Updated:

FARMVILLE, VA—More than a month at the drawing, a jackpot-winning Mega Million ticket worth $99 million remains unclaimed in Farmville.

Virginia Lottery officials said the winning ticket was purchased for the May 17 drawing at the Food Lion, located at 1592 South Main Street.

The winning numbers were 11-15-35-43-49 and the Mega Ball number 41.

The unclaimed ticket was one of two tickets to match all six numbers in the May 17 drawing. The other ticket, which has already been claimed, was purchased in New Jersey.

The two tickets split the $198 million jackpot, which comes to $99 million each. The Virginia winner has 180 days from the drawing to claim the prize.

The winner may choose to take the full $99 million in 26 annual payments, or may opt for a one-time cash option of approximately $73.3 million before taxes, the Virginia Lottery said.
