HENRICO, VA—The man police say fired a gun into a vehicle and wounded two teens late Sunday night has been taken into police custody.
The suspect, Joshua Steven Combs, 29, was taken into police custody Tuesday afternoon, Henrico County Police said.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. Sunday on Almond Tree Drive near Bickerstaff Drive.
Two teens suffered gunshot wounds to the leg, and an adult female suffered minor injuries from glass fragments, police said. All of the injuries were non-life threatening.
Warrants charging Combs with malicious wounding, malicious shooting into an occupied vehicle and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony were issued following the shooting.
Henrico County Police said they are no longer searching for the vehicle believed to be used by the suspect.
