A family of four was displaced after fire ripped through their Henrico County home Sunday afternoon.
Crews responded to a home on Hickory Avenue and Woodside Street just after 2 p.m. Sunday to find a home with heavy fire showing from the roof. It took firefighters more than an hour to bring the blaze under control.
The occupants were not at home at the time of the fire. The Red Cross is assisting them.
Two firefighters were treated at the scene for heat-related injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
