RICHMOND, VA—A man was shot in the chest twice during an early morning shooting in Richmond on Tuesday.
It happened just before 2 a.m. on Lancaster Road, just off Chamberlayne Avenue.
Police say the victim walked to a nearby Exxon station for help. He was then taken to VCU Medical Center, where he was rushed into surgery.
The victim's condition is unknown. No suspect description was given.
