"The Real Babymamas of Richmond" working on "Babydaddys" Spinoff
RICHMOND, Va. - Public access show, "The Real Babymamas of Richmond," is working on launching of a new spinoff, "The Real Babydaddys of Richmond."
Interviews for the new show will be held Friday from 1:30 to 7 p.m. at 2515 4th Ave.
The original show launched last month, with some criticism and drew almost 40,000 views on YouTube.
Although it drew some criticism, show creator Aretha Lewis, known on the show as "Pumpkin" or "Big Sexy," says the purpose of the show is to create a positive message and explore the challenges of being a single mom in the city.
"The Real Babymamas of Richmond" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Richmond's public access channel - Comcast channel 95 and Verizon channel 36 - and on the show's YouTube channel.
