Hopewell Subway Robbed At Gunpoint

HOPEWELL, VA—Hopewell Police are searching for the man who robbed a Subway restaurant at gunpoint late Tuesday night.

Police say the man was armed with a gun when he entered the restaurant and demanded an employee handover money.

It happed around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Subway located in the located in the 600 block of Randolph Road, near Industrial Street.

The suspect fled the scene on foot. No one was injured in the indecent.

The suspect is described as a white male with a slender build, 18-25, 6'0-6'1, 140-145 pounds, wearing dark in color pants, a grey in color hooded sweatshirt with horizontal striping, a white t-shirt covering the lower portion of his face and displaying a black in color handgun.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hopewell/Prince George Crime Solvers at 541-2202. You can also text-a-tip anonymously. You will then be provided an ID number that you will use when checking the status of your tip OR picking up your reward.
